Deena & Paul – A Preview

I know it seems like I have been absent for a while, but rest assured I have not disappeared! I am actually very busy and have been doing a lot lately, it just has happened to be more desk and behind the scenes work. I sort of unofficially stepped away from my business the last 12 months or so in order to devote more time to my family and to do some really cool design stuff at our church, but now I’m back in full force, and I’ve got a lot of really cool things coming up over the next couple months!!!

I’ve got a wedding or two that I will be blogging in the near future, as well as a great maternity shoot, so stay posted!

Heather & Chris – Baby’s on the Way!

Actually, the baby is no longer on the way… she is here! We’ll be getting portraits of her in a couple months! I feel so lucky to have been a part of Chris & Heather’s life over the past couple years… engagement & bridal portraits… I got to be part of their wedding… plus Heather and I have really hit it off and we seem to stay in touch, no matter what’s going on. I was so excited to hear that they were expecting and now baby Caitlin has arrived! Congratulations to you guys on another amazing milestone!

Crystal & Gary’s Wedding

Crystal and Gary got married last week at the beautiful Inn at Craig Place. It was so cool to be a part of their very intimate ceremony. It was just the two of them (plus the preacher, of course!), I loved getting to know them while I was there. They are so much FUN! I can tell that not only are Crystal and Gary very in love, they are very best friends. Their vows were some of the coolest, most intimate, and funniest vows I have ever heard.

Thanks to Gary and Crystal for trusting me to document this amazing day in your lives! I had a great time! May God bless your marriage abundantly!

Happy 4th!

The Bateman’s – Family Portraits

I have been very privileged to get to know the Bateman family over the past couple months. When I met them for their portrait session, they were rockin’ George Michael in their mini-van. They are just cool people. Fun, energetic, and kind. Thanks to the Bateman’s for a fun shoot and for being troopers when I made you sit in the middle of the road for pictures with cars coming down the road every minute! “1.. 2.. 3.. smile! Now RUUUUNN!”
