Well we just made it home only moments ago and I wanted to let everyone know that I’ll get to your phone calls and e-mails as soon as possible. If you’re waiting for a phone call, it’ll probably be next Monday or Tuesday before I respond. I was sick all this week at camp and my voice has been almost completely gone since Tuesday. I am hoping that over the next couple days, I will get healthy again. All that to say, thanks for being patient!
I am very thankful to have a job that I LOVE getting back to!
God bless!

I’m home for the weekend and back out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for being so patient! I just wanted to post this picture I shot out the passenger-side window yesterday while driving down I-35. We haven’t seen rain around here in a long time and I thought it was just awe-inspiring to see this one rain cloud just pouring down. I thought it was so beautiful. God is pretty creative. The other day, my daughter was looking up at the clouds and I guess she saw a shape taking form and she said, “Mom, look what God is making!” Pretty cool.
I know this isn’t the most technically perfect photo with the road signs and the reflection or two from my window, but I didn’t really want to jazz it all up with Photoshop.

Have an awesome week!

Just wanted to let you all know that I will be out of town until June 27th. It’s off to two weeks of summer camp for our family (my husband is a youth pastor for those who do not know). It will be a fun and exhausting time and we’re excited. There won’t be phone reception or internet where we’ll be so I wanted to let everyone know that I will respond to your calls and e-mails as soon as I get back. Thanks so much for your patience!

I have known the Azzaro family since I moved here seven years ago, and they have been such a blessing and encouragement every step of the way, from my days as a single college student, through our engagement, marriage, and then kids. The Azzaro’s are loads of fun and they are very wonderful, very real people. Thanks for the special role that each one of you play in our lives… and thanks for letting me take your pictures

I have just recently discovered a really cool resource for couples planning their wedding. It’s called WeddingWire, and it offers a ton of cool services and resources including ideas, organization tools, and information and reviews for wedding vendors of all kinds! Every time I browse their site, I discover something new, and it doesn’t seem to be overcrowded with information like a lot of other wedding sites, which I like. Anyway, if you’re getting married, check it out. AND, if you’re already married and you want to help out by reviewing my services as well as your other vendors, WeddingWire is offering a free gift once you’ve reviewed 5 vendors! That’s pretty cool, huh? Thank you so much to all of my brides who have been SO kind to review Powerhouse Studios!
Thanks and God bless,
Breanna

Gordon & Leslie’s wedding day was probably the coolest that I have ever been to (which is saying something because I have been to a lot of weddings!) It was so laid back and creative and FUN. The day started by getting ready at The Hoffman Haus in Fredricksburg, then loading up with all 32 of their guests on a charter bus and going to Enchanted Rock (where Gordon proposed). We arrived and hiked a little ways to the site of the ceremony. It was simple and made beautiful by the amazing scenery. After it was all over, the guests hung out and hiked or sat in the shade. Then it was off to Becker Vineyards for a light lunch and wine tasting. Then back on the bus and back to The Hoffman Haus for an awesome reception complete with great music, amazing food, and lots of fun!
Thanks Gordon & Leslie for letting me be a part of you amazing day!

This is yours truly, and probably about all you’ll ever see of my face

I was very blessed to be able to photograph Josh & Hannah’s wedding in May. It was beautiful and elegant, and marked by much love and laughter. Congrats to the newlyweds!

And here’s a shout-out to the amazingly fun and talented woman who coordinated it all, Amanda! She and her husband are AMAZING dancers and are so fun to watch!
