For those who are married or getting married…

I know I’ve got a lot of soon to be brides, new brides, and brides who have been in it for a while (and grooms too!). I just wanted to share a cool resource or two with you on marriage that have been really helpful to me.

First, our church is currently doing a series called “Living ‘I Do’ in an ‘I Don’t’ World” and it’s been really amazing! Sermons are now available to listen to online or download (free, of course), so I recommend checking it out. Our pastor has some really amazing insight about marriage.

The second resource is Marriage Partnership magazine online. It’s real, it’s practical, it’s awesome. I highly recommend it.

Well, I know it doesn’t have anything to do with pictures, but since weddings are such a big part of what I do, I thought these might be helpful resources! God bless!

Heather & Chris are MARRIED!

Congratulations to Heather & Chris. They got married today (well, technically yesterday). They had a beautiful wedding and reception and now they finally get to relax and forget about all the wedding planning! Congrats!

One of my very best friends (and family!)

So Terra is one of my best friends and we decided to go shoot some belated Easter/wildflower photos. It was an interesting time. The kids were a bit… impatient about the whole thing, but we got some good shots! It was funny looking through them with Terra because most of the pictures someone was fussing or running off or something! After we got some with the kids, Terra and I decided to do some with just her. She was much more cooperative! Ha ha! Anyway, we had fun and I think we got some pretty good shots!

Ryan & Kelly

Ryan & Kelly are an awesome couple that goes to our church. They are fun and SUPER creative! We had fun taking pictures, and hey, you should check them out if you’re in need of brilliant web development or really awesome custom cards & stationary! Honestly, they are really cool

We had a great time shooting these bridal portraits the other day! I think bridal portraits are some of my favorite pictures to take. I mean, when else do you get to dress up like a princess and take pictures, right?! Thanks, Hilarie, for a great day!

Baby Joshua

I had forgotten so quickly how tiny babies are! My baby is only 10 months old, but he’s not tiny anymore! Joshua is 6 weeks old and just so sweet. He even let me hold him for a few minutes!

What a day, right Heather? Ha! We had quite the adventure driving all over SA! We had a lot of fun though, and she is such a beautiful bride!
