powerhouse studios

So my husband and I are planning a vacation in late August or early September. We’re planning jumping in the car and going somewhere, and I was just curious if anyone out there had any suggestions for a good road trip. We live in San Antonio and we have just about a week, give or take a day or two. We really wanted to drive into Mexico on the Pacific side, but a lot of people have advised us against it. That makes me so sad because it’s beautiful there and there’s something romantic and fun about it all. I love Mexico. I got to live there for 3 months as a missions intern a few years ago and loved it. I digress. All that to say, I love travel and we’re up for just about anything. Got some fun ideas?

Well, it seems that at least for now, winter is over. The weather here has been AMAZING! I’ve enjoyed this week so much. Spent a lot more time outside. All the new spring merchandise is out at all the stores and I get excited about picnics and barbeques and baseball (my husband gets so psyched, I can’t seem to help it!). I’m especially excited to be getting outside and snapping some pictures. This week is already booked up with photo shoots, and I’m so excited about all the new possibilities! I’ve got so many ideas of things I want to try, and I feel so fortunate to have such exciting and open clients! I’ll be posting early next week with images from some of my shoots, but for now, here are just some pictures I’ve gotten this week on my own time, just for fun

This is my nephew and he is one of the cutest babies in the world. He loves the camera and he is the smiliest baby I’ve ever seen! Just adorable!
